Some of my best tips
TO LEAVE YOUR GUESTS IMPRESSED!!
Just a handful of these standout ideas will turn your wedding day into an event to remember.
1.KEEP YOUR CEREMONY BRIEF
Dont get me wrong, your guests are there to see you say "I Do"
But it can be quite tiring sitting at a long ceremony. Keep the proceedings to about
20 minutes so you dont loose anyone's attention.
2.CHOOSE A PERSONALISED PROGRAMME
Personalize this piece of stationery with interesting details about you and your groom.
Give a breakdown of the ceremony's proceedings.
Interesting photo's they can sit & talk about whilst waiting for the ceremony to begin.
3.USE A WEDDING APP
There are SO many great wedding apps to choose from for your big day.
Some interactive apps allow guests to upload wedding photos into one curated place.
4.GIVE -OUT - TOWN - GUESTS - A - WEDDING - BASKET
Some of your guests had to travel to be a part of your big day.
To show your appreciation, give welcome bags for guests staying at hotels.
Include a few snacks, bottles of water, and a list of local resources, like the nearest drug store, restaurants and coffee shops, plus any nearby attractions.
5.GREET EACH GUESTS
Does this sound obvious ? I know but its really important to each and everyone of your guests that you show that you are grateful that they have attended. Remember to try & spend at least 5 - 10 minutes during your evening asking whether they are enjoying the day & have had enough to eat & drink, over a cocktail or on the dance floor.
6.CREATE A WELL PLANNED SEATING CHART
What dining experience have you planned? Vital ? Guests must be comfortable! group together like minded. Similar backgrounds. Similar Interests. Business Guests together. Childrens table or a teenager table.Quieter guests together. The noisy bunch together.
